What inspired you to start teaching Pilates?
At 41, I was on a cane, due to hip dysplasia and many years of skateboarding in my youth. My pain was unbearable, and I wasn't a great candidate for a hip replacement. Thankfully, my PT was also a Pilates devotee. After 6 months of regular PT and at-home Pilates practice, I ditched the cane. I have been able to manage my hip dysplasia without pain, solely from continued Pilates practice.

How would you describe your teaching style in three words?
Lighthearted, Challenging, accessible

What can people expect when they take your class?
To be challenged and to laugh or smirk at least once.

What certifications or specialties do you have?
I have completed all levels of Mat Pilates training through Balanced Body (as well as Reformer). I am currently undergoing coursework in Pilates for Neurological Conditions, and finishing my comprehensive certification with Balanced Body.

What brings you JOY?
Movement, serving others, being outdoors, and snuggling up with my cat, Willow.
